Midterm

I used two different photos of records and record sleeves to create much of the texture in this collage. I used the Free Transform to change angles and skew them into different sizes and shapes. I used a lot of layers on this image. Each elephant head and light-bulb are separate layers that were linked together to move as one. This enabled me to easily make the bulbs glow red while keeping the elephant heads a different hue.

HW5

This started out as an old family photo of my mother, uncle, and cousin. I removed them from the photo using different blending techniques. The cyclone was originally parked on grass, I selected, then added it to the photo. To finish off I used a variety of filters etc, to create the desired vintage effect.

HW3: DOUTONES

This is my submission for my HW3 assignment. I was asked to merge two separate images into one and create a duotone image out of it. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. If I was going to nitpick myself, I would have to comment on the scaling of the women to the train tracks (Shenanigans! They are all 8 foot tall amazonian princesses, I swear!), and also the angle at witch they lie in relation to the tracks.

This is my original photo used for the background before the merge.

Here is the pre-merge, found photo, of some lovely vintage women lying on the beach.
